Cherry beet smoothie

When you want an easy breakfast, a quick thing like this cherry beet smoothie is the perfect choice. Vibrant beet juice and frozen cherries give it a nice color, while yogurt and a banana make it more filling.

cherry beet smoothie

This cherry smoothie with beets is the perfect mix of tart and sweet. We have frozen cherries and beet juice for vibrancy, along with Greek yogurt and a banana for bulk.

I love this smoothie because it’s made in no time, it is refreshing and very filling. It’s not sweet at all.

Cherry beet smoothie

A vibrant pink smoothie with cherries and beet juice, plus an addition of yogurt and bananas. It's filling and not too sweet.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total: 5 minutes
Servings: 1

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) beet juice
  • 2/3 cup (160 g) Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk, I like almond milk
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) frozen cherries
  • 1 medium banana

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until completely smooth.
  • Taste to see if you want to adjust the flavor then serve.

Notes

If you use a frozen banana, the smoothie will taste even creamier.
To make vegan, you can use a coconut based yogurt instead.

I’ve noticed a lot of bloggers taking it slower this month- some because of being sick and some well…just because. Don’t stress it too much and feel better soon!

I guess December is too stressful for a lot of people, so January is the recovery month, hehe. And thanks, I am feeling much better! 🙂
